Andrew: How are you guys doing? How has riding been this past week.

Brian Smith: Pretty good.

Brian Boyle: Well while clipping my hair this week, my clippers died on me this week - I thought I was gonna have to Kojak my head with a razor.

But thankfully one of my brothers lent me beard trimmer and that did the job for a couple of days. I bought those clippers in 1988 - paid like 20 bucks for them. They died. Kinda like a steel frame.

BB: which leads us into this past weekend’s competitions in Oak Brook and Rum Village (South Bend, Indiana) respectively. I did both, BB and A - you did the latter. How do you guys feel?

BB: That was good work by both of you- both of you guys rode so smart with in yourselves. Andrew - great job in the previous race(Andrew rode with us in 3/4 and rode in 4/5), you got 4th in the 4/5’s. I was happy to be back to my old self again.

BS: Get new members in Lake County, Indiana, get a woodland’s camouflage team kit for next year as well

BB: Yeah - they owe us one - Me and B have been the warm up act at that place since the winter time. We should be in really good form when cyclocross ends in December for our grand return to Jolly Roger.

BS: B - how was Tour of Oak Brook?

BB: Well I worked hard. Particularly I went otf and thought I was competing for a snazzy coffee maker prime lap or something. I guess that I visions of being the next Henry Rollins or something. But it shows you how hot it was that day. I asked my otf partner - ‘wasn’t that a prime?’ He denied it. Oh well. That was a good race (for me)but the weather created a lot of attrition.
