We had some fun today poking around USA Cycling's rankings and made some interesting if not altogether surprising discoveries: XXX Racing-AthletiCo began this week having the No. 1 Illinois rider in a boffo 14 disciplines and categories, sweeping the Cat 3, Cat 4 and women's Cat 3 rankings in road race, criterium, time trial and stage race, and ranking No. 1 among Cat 5's in road race and criterium. Congratulations go to Peter Strittmatter, Liam Donoghue, Luke Seemann, Ryan Fay and Beth Christiansen. In addition, Strittmatter is currently ranked No. 1 nationally in the road race.
